A Standardard Bernedoodle averages in size from 75 to 85 lbs.

What is a Standard Bernedoodles Temperament?

Standard Bernedoodles are ideal family dogs. They are very calm, intelligent and obedient. Standard Bernedoodles get along well with other dogs or pets as they are not overbearing or domineering. You will certainly see the intelligence and ease of training from the poodle side and the affectionate, loving Bernese Mountain Dog side.

Are Standard Bernedoodles Hypoallergenic?

Standard Bernedoodles come in a few different coat types, first and most common you will see the longer more wavy coat which will generally be a minimal (if at all) shedding coat. You will also see a curly coat which will generally be minimal to nonshedding coat.

When comparing the two coats the curly coat will almost certainly shed less than the wavy coat and may be more suitable for allergy sufferers. Most people with allergies to dog dander are fine with a wavy-coated dog. Regular brushing and grooming will help to prevent tangles and matting.
